We are a data controller and are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office with a registration number of ZB511287. Our website and services are only available for people aged 18 or over.

We obtain information about you when you are introduced to us by our third-party partners or when you use our website, contact us (e.g., when you submit your details to obtain a quote for a loan), or are a member of staff with our third-party partners. We may also collect personal information about you from other third parties that refer your details to us or publicly available sources such as credit reference agencies, lenders, couriers, third party and partner websites.

The personal information we collect will include your name, address, email address, IP address, telephone numbers, employment information, financial commitments and information regarding what pages are accessed and when. In relation to our credit broker service, this involves us searching against the lender’s criteria to find the loan that meets your needs. We do this when you are introduced to us by one of our partners or when you contact us, by obtaining information about your identity and contact details; your product preference; your lifestyle; nationality and residence status; employment, income and expenditure, bank account details and other financial circumstances. How you answer these questions will determine what other questions we may ask you.

You are a member of staff with our third-party suppliers or partners:

The personal information we collect will include your name, address, email address, telephone number, IP address and information regarding what pages are accessed and when.

How do we use your personal information?

We use your personal information in several ways including:

  • To assess your eligibility against the Everyday Loans product criteria
  • To personalise and improve our services
  • To communicate with you regarding our services
  • To ensure compliance with your requests to exercise your rights

What is our lawful basis for processing your personal information?

Who do we share your personal information with and how is it used?

Third party suppliers and partners:

We may pass your personal information to our third-party suppliers or partners, agents, subcontractors and other associated organisations for the purposes of completing tasks and providing services to you on our behalf (e.g., hosting the website that you have used to access this Notice). However, when we use third party suppliers or partners, we disclose only the personal information that is necessary to deliver the service and we have a contract in place that requires them to keep your information secure and not to use it for their own purposes. In particular, please be reassured that we will not release your information to third parties beyond Everything Financial for them to use for their own marketing purposes, unless you have requested us to do so, or we are required to do so by law, for example, by a court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime.

When you make a loan enquiry on our website and you have consented to Open Banking through Consents.online, we provide Everyday Loans with a unique identification code to enable them to access your bank account transaction data to carry out their affordability checks and decide whether to offer you a loan. You should read Consents.online privacy notice or statement which you should find on their website. If your data is introduced to us from a partner’s website and you have consented to their sharing of your data with us and other third-parties. We will assess this data, your eligibility for the loan and provide Everyday Loans with a unique identification code to enable them to carry out their lending assessment and decide whether to offer you a loan. Everyday Loans

When you make an application to Everyday Loans through our service, they will be a data controller of your personal information and you should read their own privacy notice or statement which you should find on their website Everything Financial will receive a commission from Everyday Loans if you obtain a loan through them.

Credit reference agencies

To get a picture of your credit position, we may access and conduct a soft credit search of your credit file with a Credit Reference Agency (“CRA”) and in order to provide certain services to you, we may share your information with such CRA's. We believe in informing customers at all stages about searches we carry out and we will seek your permission to complete these when they become necessary. If you choose to apply for a product, Everyday Loans will undertake a full credit check and provide you with further privacy information for that product and their service.
